Love this camera! 3/17/2013
I bought this camera to upgrade from the Canon Powershot I previously had. What a great investment! Super easy to use, and a great value! I love that the camera is so compact, and does not require AA batteries. It takes great pictures, and uploading is a breeze!

I got this camera for hiking and active trips where there is a good chance it might get broken, so I didn't want to spend too much yet still get a good zoom. This model really fits the bill. It's quite basic, but it gets the job done.

Love Canon Cameras especially when they are bargain priced on Buy.Com! This compact packs a wallop and has features you can't believe at the size and price! Under $100 - half price - UNBELIEVABLE! I bought this camera to give as a birthday gift and my friend flipped when he saw it. He loves it! This is the 2nd camera I bought here and both were Canon and both were CHEAP compared to local stores! Thanks!

Nice little camera 11/23/2012
Ordered as a gift, but it had all the features my girlfriend wanted - nice basic little camera, takes good pictures (decent in darker lighting), and the price dropped again. This one had all the features that she needed, and seeing as how it was less expensive than a slightly better Sony I was considering (with more features) it was the right product for us at the right price. I also own a Cannon camcorder that I have had no problems with (except that cannon uses a weird file format for video)

The Canon A4000 series is great for a compact camera. It has lots of features, is well built and is fashionable. Small and powerful you will probably not have any complaints. Larger hands may be a problem, I suggest seeing it in person before buying.
